It all began with a harmless girls’ night out to cheer on our friend, Cayla’s art show. Little did we know how the night would quickly escalate. At the after-party, Mike bumped into my friend Stephanie. Curious, he asked who she was with, and she dropped my name like a surprise bombshell! Without a second thought, Mike got into the car with her and our other friends to go to our next stop - a drag show. As I stepped into the car, lo and behold, there he was - bright eyed and ready to roll, like he just won the lottery! (Wild I know) at first I knew that I knew him, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Fast forward past the “who is this” and “who was your friend from last night” texts, and one “love bite”, we found ourselves on an unexpected first date at Lola 41. And well, the rest is history.
